DeLaval is currently recruiting a motivated and customer-oriented Project Sales Representative to join our sales team in Lithuania. Our team is committed to delivering strong sales performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Purpose of Role and Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will promote and sell DeLaval capital goods within an assigned geographical area (North Lithuania). You will play an important role in developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and contributing to strong sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Promote and sell capital goods products to achieve agreed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to support high customer satisfaction.
• Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned area.
• Support the growth of market share through direct sales.
• Prepare sales plans, generate leads, and contribute to local sales programmes.
• Promote the DeLaval brand and represent the company professionally in the market.
• Communicate with customers both in person, including on farms, and by phone.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity, and share relevant insights with the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
Successful candidates will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical, agricultural, veterinary, chemistry, mechanical, or other relevant field.
• At least 3 years of sales experience.
• Experience in the dairy industry is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to prioritise, organise work independently, and manage sales activities effectively.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales management and cross-functional teams.
