DeLaval is now looking for a Solution Support Expert

In this role, you will act as the consultative owner of an assigned Aftermarket or Capital Goods portfolio, driving recommendations that influence market positioning, profitability, adoption, and long-term portfolio success. You will connect customer insights, market trends, commercial opportunities, and business performance to shape portfolio decisions throughout the product lifecycle.As a senior individual contributor, you will work across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Service, and market organizations to support portfolio growth, strengthen customer value propositions, and ensure successful commercialization of solutions.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate complex market and customer needs into actionable recommendations.

This position will be based in Querétaro, Mexico.

Responsibilities

Own and drive recommendations for an assigned portfolio throughout the product lifecycle.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Prioritize customer and field feedback to improve portfolio performance and customer value.
Support pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Lead launch readiness activities and monitor post-launch performance.
Develop business cases, forecasts, and portfolio performance analyses.
Build strong relationships with customers, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
Deliver commercial and technical training to sales, service, and dealer organizations.
Collaborate across functions to influence roadmap, commercialization, and investment decisions.
Support key-customer engagements and promote adoption of portfolio solutions.

Experience and Knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture-related courses, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field.
More than 3 years of experience in product management, portfolio management, solution management, or a related area.
Experience owning or influencing product lifecycle and commercialization activities.
Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including business case development and market assessment.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes in cross-functional environments.
Experience working with customer insights, market analysis, pricing, and portfolio performance.
Ability to communicate complex concepts to commercial, technical, and customer audiences.
English proficiency required for international collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Nice to Have

Experience within the dairy, agricultural, livestock, machinery, equipment, or related industries.
Experience supporting product launches, portfolio strategy, or market development initiatives.
Knowledge of dairy production, milking technologies, or farm management solutions.
Additional language skills.
