Transport Planner (F/M)
Junior / Mid level
Location: Wrocław
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Transport Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, executing and optimizing transportation processes, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining transport documentation, and supporting continuous improvements across logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling outbound transportation activities across plants
- Creating and finalizing shipments in SAP
- Booking transports with forwarders and organizing spot/special shipments
- Preparing transport and customs documentation (CMR, invoices, dangerous goods declarations, loading lists, etc.)
- Coordinating inbound operations (Air / Sea / Road), including customs clearance for non-EU deliveries
- Auditing and approving freight and customs invoices
- Monitoring overdue transport elements and resolving deviations with carriers and planners
- Supporting transport setup changes and driving standardization of transport-related processes
- Maintaining transport-related master data in SAP
- Optimizing transportation utilization through shipment consolidation
Requirements
- Preferably educational background in forwarding/logistics
- Experience in transport planning or forwarding operations
- Experience working with SAP or similar transport planning systems
- Fluent English and Polish (written and spoken)
- Experience in change management
- Openness to participate in onboarding in Gallin (Germany), including initial stays on-site for several weeks or months
