Do you want to work in a global company where you can contribute to a more sustainable food production? DeLaval is a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of solutions for dairy farmers around the world. As a company built on innovation, we constantly work to find ways of helping our customers do more with less.
DeLaval is now looking for a Product Owner for our Access and Onboarding Operations team within our Digital Service department.
The Digital Services Unit leads DeLaval’s transition to offer cloud-based services to bring unique value to dairy farmers, dealers, partners, and our own organisation. We are on an exciting journey of connecting farms, robots and cows to the cloud. Through data collection in combination with machine learning, we are creating new and innovative solutions helping the dairy farmers all around the world.
Role and responsibilities
The Access & Onboarding Operations team owns the platforms, processes and tools that enable secure and seamless onboarding to the DeLaval Plus system for customers, partners and employees worldwide.
In this role, you will define priorities, drive continuous improvements and ensure that our IAM capabilities create value for both users and the business. Acting as the main stakeholder in DeLaval's ongoing migration to Ping Identity solutions, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our identity and access management landscape.
As Product Owner, you will own and maintain the team backlog, features, requirements and user stories while managing dependencies across teams and coordinating with stakeholders. The role includes leading discovery activities, feature breakdowns and user story mapping workshops, as well as collaborating with distributed and near-shore development teams. Given our global user base, language and localization considerations are an integral part of the work.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Ideally about 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar product-focused role.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience managing product backlogs and requirements in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience within Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or experience equivalent to similar degrees
- Professional proficiency in English.
In addition, we believe you have an analytical mindset with the ability to drive decision-making based on business value, combined with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
