Sourcing Manager Indirect (F/M)
Location: Wrocław, Poland
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager Indirect to lead strategic sourcing activities across the EMEA region, with Capex as the main category and Fleet as an additional area of responsibility.
In this role, you will develop and implement category strategies, lead complex sourcing projects and negotiations, manage strategic supplier relationships and work closely with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
This is a highly autonomous role for someone who combines strong commercial and analytical skills with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies for Capex and Fleet across EMEA.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market and spend analysis, RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiations and contract implementation.
- Negotiate complex contracts and framework agreements, ensuring competitive commercial terms and appropriate risk management.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and monitor supplier performance.
- Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance and other value-creation opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Finance, HR and other business functions.
- Act as a trusted procurement advisor, challenging requirements and ensuring business needs are effectively reflected in sourcing strategies and contracts.
- Drive standardization, process improvements and procurement best practices across EMEA.
- Monitor procurement compliance and support effective use of SAP Ariba and other digital procurement tools.
- Track category performance, savings and key procurement KPIs and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, preferably within indirect procurement.
- Proven experience in Capex sourcing and/or Fleet; experience with EPCM contracting will be a strong advantage.
- Experience working in an international, matrix organization and managing stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Strong track record of developing category strategies and delivering measurable savings and business value.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, including understanding of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms and supplier risk management.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa or similar e-procurement systems.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity.
