DeLaval is now looking for an Inventory Planning Senior Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inventory Planning Senior Analyst to join our Planning & Logistics team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving inventory planning and supply management processes across Latin America, ensuring the right balance between product availability, inventory investment, and customer service levels. You will play a key role in translating demand and supply signals into actionable inventory strategies, supporting business growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
You will partner closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Global Planning teams to optimize inventory performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and strengthen planning governance. In addition, you will contribute to data quality initiatives, process standardization, and continuous improvement projects across the region.
As part of our Planning & Logistics organization, you will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing analytical insights and recommendations to support decision-making and improve supply chain performance.
This position will be based in Jaguariúna, Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory planning processes for Latin America, ensuring adequate stock levels and service performance.
- Monitor inventory health indicators, including inventory turns, excess and obsolete stock, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Analyze demand, supply, and inventory trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Global Supply Chain teams to align inventory strategies.
- Support S&OP and supply planning activities through data analysis and scenario evaluations.
- Maintain and improve planning parameters within SAP and other planning systems.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization and planning efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and support planning governance across the region.
Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience in inventory planning, supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain analytics.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles, replenishment strategies, and supply chain processes. - Experience working in regional or multinational environments.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Spanish is considered an advantage.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP ERP and inventory planning modules.
- Knowledge of S&OP, IBP, or integrated business planning processes.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or AI-based analytical tools.
- Understanding of inventory optimization methodologies and statistical analysis.
- APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications.
- Continuous improvement mindset with Lean or Six Sigma knowledge.
